WALT use the correct structure for Persuasive Writing.

Homework

Learning is important.

We need to learn at school and at home.

I think we should do homework everyday.

Firstly why I think we should do homework everyday is because it can give your brain a workout and you can get smart at your homework.

Secondly I think we should do homework everyday

because you can practice your spelling and get 100% correct spelling.

So that’s why I  think we should do homework every day.

Look at how much I have improved in my basic facts. I have gone up by 19 points.

Science: Pulleys

We made a pulley to get Mr Grinlings lunch from his house to

the lighthouse.

Pulleys are machines that make work easier.

I made this Matariki Star by weaving coloured paper.

We watched a video that showed us what to do.

Then Whaea Annie showed us what to do.

We worked with our friends and helped each other.

It was hard. You had to concentrate and follow the instructions carefully.

Brushing Teeth

Teeth are important for chewing our food.
We need to look after them.

So I think we should brush our teeth every day.

Firstly I think we should brush our teeth every day

so that our teeth are healthy and strong.

When you Brush your teeth you can wash

the bacteria a way.

Secondly I think we should brush our teeth
every day because our teeth might get yuck
if don’t brush our teeth so if you leave
the food in your mouth bacteria can make holes in your teeth.

Thirdly I think we should brush our teeth everyday so

we can protect our teeth from the bacteria.

When you wash your teeth the bacteria
can go away and then your teeth will be safe.

So that’s why I think we should brush our teeth every day.
